What am I missing? If you replied please respond I want to pick you're brain. best website Ive found so far ALL imput will be GREATLY appreciated. "Hi GBfan, You certainly do not have to slow. This is still America. Just looking out for your best interest. If you come across issues (which is almost a certainty) with a 15 gal wash you may have to run the whole batch again. 15 gals can run you 10hrs or more. If you start with 5 gal until you get proficient it may save you a lot of time, $$ and energy. I started with a gallon air-still, then a 3 gal pot then my 15 PSII over the course of three years. And things still arise. Temperatures, cooling flow etc. As a wise man once said,"" This hobby is fun but it is not tiddly winks"" Books: The complete Distiller is a great one. By the way, GBfan does not mean Green Bay does it? good luck and be safe"

"Just in support of Hokey's answer, when you try to learn or change many variables in one step, you run a much larger chance of just confusing yourself and maybe ruining a lot of material. If you try, and then master, one step at a time, your chances of a good final outcome are better, which is why I've always taught stilling in simple steps that can be easily comprehended, mastered, and understood.
But you know yourself, and if you can juggle a lot of new balls at one time, go ahead and have at it. We're here if you need us."

What's up GB. If your distillate justs turned a little cloudy you could have been pushing stails. Murky brown could mean puking. The wash boiling up into and out of the condenser. In my short time here this has not happened so someone else will have to tell you about where to go from here. Might have to stop, clean packing (if any) start again. How much did you collect up to that point. Don't trust my answer though I've been a Patriots season ticket holder for twelve years. LOL Keep us informed. Good luck and have fun
