How do you run it in pot mode and where does the product come out?? I'm not being funny, I just cant tell. Ok now I see. But I guess the coils are copper because distilling in any mode without copper is in correct. I'm not crazy about the boiler itself. And I guess I missed why there are 2 connections to the boiler cover. Please clarify for me. I'm sure such an elaborate design has a purpose.

Alcohol comes out the bottom of the cooling device. There is a diagram at the bottom of the page. Originally Posted by: dieselduo For the same amount of money you can get a PSII. I'm reading more "The construction is all Stainless steel which has been argon welded thus avoiding any of the health problems associated with copper and solder constructed stills" This statement alone shows a lack of knowledge.

You know, the lead based solder... (sarcasm off)

I'm not unhappy with my home made rig but I would like something that is more convenient to setup each time that will produce more product each run. Currently I can only distill about 1 gallon (of mash) at a time. I don't want to spend more than $500.00 and I'd like to know that my purchase will suite my needs for years to come and require a lot of modification or repair over time.
TIA for any suggestions...
