I was cooking my hooch and everything was going good. I have 5gal potstill usin 1500 watt hot plate, I was right at 175*.I got to my 10th 1/2pint and she quit. So I cooled it down and put it in my fridge 3 days ago. I'm thinking of throwin the tails from my previous batches (1.5 pints ) in it and running it. Should this work or am I wasting my time with the backset .

I think it'll work jes fine.. I had a bottle of propane go empty on me once in the middle of a run and I had to wait till the next day to recover.. Same deal..I tossed in the tails and ran again to 30% (my boundary).
If you were in the 20% range, imho, it isn't really work it.. Save it and fold it into another generation.. |
