As I have said in the past I know jack about electricity. Sure I can re-wire a switch, plug or lamp but that is about it. So am I correct in assuming that if I try to run a 20 amp RSC on a 15 amp circuit it would not last too long?

the rsc is rated for 20--since 15 is less then it should be fine I guess. If you buy an rsc with even higher rating, you will never be sorry. you will never be sorry.

DD had interesting experiences.

Darn. I thought that was why I have gone through 2 rsc's in less than a 8 months. I just ordered another one and will try a different circuit just for the heck of it.
