Has anyone ever used a home water distiller for a stripping run?

Hello. Are you talking about an Air Still? Or Mr distiller? The plug and play ones that hold 1 gal of liquid?

It is very similar to that, but this is an actual water distiller. If I understand correctly, the air still does not reach the temps that the water distiller does... but if I am just stripping a run...? rgreen2002 attached the following image(s): distiller-pure.jpg (16kb) downloaded 0 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Hi rgreen, I have read that some people think that there is no difference between the two. I can't confirm or deny that. I know that I have made some good whisky with the one I used to use. At a gallon at a time they just take a lot of time. They are just a small pot still after all. Doing stripping runs, temp does not matter a whole lot anyway. Other folks think they are foolish but I say if it was not for what I made with my air still I would not have my PSII today.
