I will also need to pick up some of my electrical components for my controller while on vacation too. I am going to pick it up in person because they only ship UPS and cost is stupid to Yellowknife. I will be driving right by them on my way to Florida for the month of March to catch some rays, hockey and fish.
I have 50L of rum wash ready to run. This means I can start my 2nd gen wash this weekend. Hopefully get a few more gens and a spirit run in before I go away. That way my hooch can age without me taste testing it until it's all gone.

Looking Good Drifter. If you haven't already you should search "cycling" in the search box. The heat on most electric stoves cycles on and off and can adversely effect the process. It shouldn't matter on stripping runs though. You may have already done this but I would also somehow put the collection container up closer to the output which puts it further away from the heat source and less splashing. Have fun.

Thanks for the info Hokey. I will raise the collection container somehow on my next run. As for using the stove it's all I have for now until my vacation next month when I can pick up the last of the parts I need to finish making my controller. I also need to stop into Hillbilly Stills in Tennessee to pick up my water heater element mount. Once I have all of the needed supplies I will have full control over the process.
