I just got my psII hc and it is a beautiful piece of art, ver y well built. Now the question that I got is I had fittings put in for heating elements, but what I would like to know is do I need to use a router speed control box or is there something else that I can use? I was wondering if something like a dimmer switch for lights would work or not. New to all this have been using copper for a long time and decided to upgrade.

Hello cowboy. I have a 15 gal PSIIHC. I use two Camco 2000 watt internal elements(Amazon). I do not have 220 volt capacity. I plug them into separate circuits. Heat up time is a little under an hour. If I had an 8 gal I would only use one. I have been using a Rockler 26 amp RSC (also Amazon) and it has been ok. I would really like to have a variac or triac or one of the controllers the talented guys around here build themselves.:)
