Just curious as to there being any advantage to double filtering. I'm referring to immediately taking the first run filter and running it through again. Or is it pretty much just a waste of time. I use the pre-wet method of filtering.

Another question please. I want to make some Strawberry Creme and it calls for 2 dl of whipping creme but I can't find anything on what a 'dl' is. Hope someone can help here. http://www.brewhaus.com/forum/clipart/happy.gif

If your intention is to run the filtered liquid through the same carbon,
then it can actually do more harm than good. Generally, a single filtration
should be sufficient if you are using a relatively clean product to begin
with, and not rushing the process.

A 'dl' is simply 100ml. In Europe they tend to us cl and dl much more than
we do here, so a lot of people get thrown off. 2dl = 200ml.
