"I'm sure everyone has seen Rick's post on Brewhaus about the Hobby Distiller's Association. How many people have signed up so far? Just some food for thought....there are almost 7,000 members on this forum, and it's a valuable resource. Rick & Brewhaus are another valuable resource - making this forum available, responding to emails and phone calls with timely, thorough answers. And now, helping get legislation changed so we can all do what we know SHOULD be legal in a legal manner. If even just 1/3 of us contributed by signing up for the HDA, there would be enough money to help support having a lobbyist to get things going. By signing up, your name (or at least your body count, should you remain anonymous) get's on a list of supporters to go to senators/congressmen. This is soooo important, very easy, and it won't break the bank. If you haven't signed up already, consider all the work being done for changing laws, and for HELPING you out. I'm sure most people on this forum have acquired valuable information...consider signing up as ""thanks"" for all the help we get here. And spread the word! Maybe you know someone that makes beer or wine, but doesn't distill. Share the info with them, and even though they're not a distiller yet, maybe they'll still be willing to chip in.

Happy Distilling!"
