"All,
Can you believe its been a year since we started our hobby distillers legalization effort? Our proposal was completed in the middle of July and by the time we started sending it to our representatives in DC, they had all left for Summer Break. Officially Congress is closed next week for the 4th of July, the entire month of August and the 1st week of September. The good news is many in the Congress schedule constituent meetings around their states and districts during this time, some will send their constituent representatives and some, like Eric Cantor, will do neither. Now is the perfect time to go online and look at your Senator's and Congressman/Woman's summer schedule. Find out where meetings are scheduled that you can attend to present our proposed legislation. Take a copy of our brochure and a copy of the proposal - both can be copied from the website. If you would like copies of the full color brochure, let us know and we will mail them to you. This is a great opportunity to make our efforts known not only to the Congress, but also to everyone else in the room during the meetings. We missed this opportunity last year - let's not miss it this year!

Great advice Tom! Since Cantor's epic loss happened, we can take advantage of the very short time period where our reps will be pretending to listen to their constituents so they can retain their comfortable seats. That might be just what we need to launch our efforts into the spotlight. Timing makes a big difference!
