-----I'M GOING TO THE NEXT STAGE IN TRYING TO MAKE MY STILL ALMOST FULLY AUTOMATIC.

Solinoid 1 is connedt directly to 110 volts with a N/C float switch in series with one of its power lines. The float switch is in a jar and set to open when it has fill

I'm trying to hang the setup now-- Its sloppy but I'm not good at neat. I really need an idea or 10 lol

I USED HEAVY COPPER WIRE TO HANG THE ASSEMBLY. I DONT LIKE HOW IT LOOKS. perhaps I WILL CONSIDER SOME SORT OF STAND TO SUPPORT THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY INCLUDING THE PIDs AND THE FORESHOTS JAR.
In order for the liquid to flow correctly, The solenoids must be perfectly vertical.

----UPDATE ON PROJECT-----

I just purchased some plexi glass so I can construct an enclosure/panel for the meters That control the solenoids . Within the enclosure, I will include the components that I have on a different panel which now monitor the

The temperature controlling electronics are in process of being re mounted and wired-- Its too cold out for me now so I started fooling with this part of the project

I haven't updated because i ended up in the hospital for a few things--I'm fine now but have abandoned the project because i am quite weak now-- just wanted to update i have the 3 PIDs the 18 inch clear plastic box ready to be assembled with the controls and wiring; but i will be doing a bit of wine and liquor making from now on-- vodka is first on the list if i fire up the still again.

Sorry to hear about your hospital stay but glad to see you're home again. Maybe you could find a stronger still hand around to help out for the knowledge. Sure would like to see the finished automatic still BigGrin

Glad to hear you're feeling better Scotty. Also glad to hear your next run will be vodka. (my favorite). Keep us posted. I'd give you a hand but I think New England is a fer' piece from where you are.

I saw the same damn effect this past spring when I was debilitated for about 6-7 months.. Got ripped clean off payin' for help that... wasn't any help at t'all..
