Talk about shooting a member down that's trying to build his own still!!. Does matter who makes it as long as it works!. I've never brought a still and never will when it's simple to make your own. 90% of stills for sale by manufacturers are over priced and under functioning. The pot with the coil would have been fine for a first still. Then you brought a burner, you could have brought a keg, tri clamp for the column, tri clamps clamp straight to most kegs, 2" column with a union on top with a 3/4" over 1/2" liebig condenser. Would make a great pot still. Oh well, to late to the party.
