"I have been interested in this hobby for a very long time. I haven't yet actually taken any action toward it. But, I do have a good start on materials. You know, copper and the like. I was advised to come here by a friend. He isn't a member but has done business with Brewhaus America. Anyway, hello !

But I believe my ex boyfriend pizzed off the wrong person there. Not really a very nice person, one of many reasons he is no longer within my view. They won't accept my registration there. I'm sure I can find all I need right here. I am debating whether to purchase a complete ready to go unit. Or, build one. I have several old beer kegs around here. So,,,,I have the main part available. I also have this huge stainless steel tank but I just don't know for sure what was in it before. Does it matter? Can anything be cleaned up? Or should I not even be considering a container I don't know what it has been used for? I have read my brains out everywhere I could find something about the subject. Therefore, I feel I am armed with at least making things look good on paper. Thanks again for the welcome. LTS"

Since you have several old beer kegs it should would be easier to configure one of those for a boiler than the other pot. I know because that's what I use.
And just to be nosey..how would the other site know who your boyfriend is to NOT allow you to join???
Back to the other site....it does take them several days to accept your request and sometimes weeks, never heard of them not taking new members.......
