After collecting 170 proof and then adding water to reduce it to 80 proof, the product is slightly hazy looking, what would the reason for this? RCM

could be a number of things. the water used might have been ozonated , so air it out a bit or you got down into a part of the tails but at 170 wouldn't seem likely.

I think I`ve already solved the problem, I used water from my well and after diluting the other jug with distilled water it came out clear. RCM

Always use distilled water.
