I built one. It really does work. i whipped up some sugar to try it out. about 10 days later, it was ready to distill, so I let her loose before I went to bed. the nest morning, I woke up to find that it reeked of alcohol inside the bucket. the next day, I had all the alcohol the sites said I would. it turned out to be about 45-55%, so a good bang for my buck.

yes it does make a very comforable 80 proof it is cheap and my tests show between 40/percent and 50/percent alc. you are like me not an alc. head. we just want to make good drinkable smooth alc. you will love this setup you can set it and plug it in and overnight it will make a gal. of between 80/proof AND 90/PROOF alc. this is the cheapest way I have found to make high quality, yet good alc. percentage. I hope you will enjoy a good plan to make truly good alc. not 190 proof. I would like to hear fromyou at [email="ens961997

Yes you can make a higher proof whiskey with this system and it's safe as long as you are distilling a simple sugar/water wash. All you have to do is run off a couple of single run batches ,enough to refill the still, and run it again ,Don't add any water though, just the distillate from your first run's,, the result will be higher proof alcohol. If you want to distill something else ,fruit. grain, etc., see the comments made elsewhere in this forum ,I forgot who made them, that addresses the problem of removing the heads and tails with this system!
