I have a question I was wondering what all i can use to lower the ph of my water. I am doing an AG with Liquid Enzymes and need to get the ph lower when i add the secong enzyme, I looked on here but for some reason I couldnt find anything on it, I am sure it is on here somewhere.

"There are a bunch of things you can use to lower the pH: calcium chloride, calcium sulphate, magnesium sulphate, citric acid, lactic acid. They'll all lower the pH. The sulphates are last on my list for mash ""adjustments"" though.
I prefer citric acid to adjust my rice mash ... after liquifaction (alpha) and prior to saccharification (gluco). It's cheap & effective. Just be careful ... make small additions, work it in, and measure ... don't rush ... or you may drop the pH too low."

i have used citric acid before i thought i had more when i started this mash and when i went for it it was gone. I was thring to see what else i had around that i could use instead. thanks
