When running a thumper, do you do it the same as you normally would with pot still at the same temp as in the column or at the out put of the thumper, and do you throw away the first few ounces as in reflux or pot mode? I`m new to the thumper set up, so I need some input. RCM

I don't know the answer; but I believe that since lower temperature boiling alcohol(foreshots) come out first that you will always have to discard the first out-- I need to know the answer on this for shure. I just can't imagine them just dis
appearing.
