Is there any value to the dregs from the bottom of the fermentation, IE garden or compost pile? Also what is left at the end of your run if you are not going to do a backset.

If you are doing something like UJSSM you would use it in the next ferment. No need for more yeast and only need to take out the spent corn
|

Spent grain is great feed for livestock,chicken to cow if fresh or garden compost
|

I put mine on the shooting berm to attract rodents.. The local Hawks then take care of the rodents ;) Edited by user Saturday, March 07, 2015 9:09:59 AM(UTC)
