I think they have lead in the and no mercury. I would just clean the hell of the container with regular dish detergent and that will remove the lead. I had one break as well and I diluted my product too weak before I realized it had a crack. I thougth my finish products were very weak. Who would have thought.

I was cocerned that the black balls would leach into the alcohol not the container.I know lead will leach out but I don't know how fast.I changed containers very quickly .Can anyone verify the this ?

Scott, I am a professional chemist for what that is worth to you. Lead is not soluble in alcohol or water. The lead-based paints that you're probably familiar with ,outlawed in the late 1970s, had lead oxide as a pigment. Lead has been removed from solder for waterpipes because the hot water, over years, will leach some lead. You are fine. Don't worry. Harrell
