rick, what would happen if i connected a valve at the end of the condensor to control flow or drip of the product ,similar to the s.s. valve that your using on the new condensor kit, would this work or am i looking at some kind of explosion...lol thanks, scott from tx

Because the system is set up to force only the lowest boiling point vapor past the cooling lines, and not to fully reflux all vapor ,simply a different concept, both have advantages, so I cannot say that either is 'better',, closing off the output will cause the system to pressurize and pop the bung out of the top ,acting as a pressure relief,.

but if you dont close the system ,valve,completley...just enough for 2 or 3 drips a second...will that still pressurize the system ?? thanks, scott from tx

If you restrict the natural flow above the cooling system, then you will still build pressure. The amount by which you decrease the natural flow is directly related to how quickly you build pressure.
