Well I made my third generation of rum adding dunder and sugar back into the fermenter. I only realised the next morning that I had forgotten to add the main ingredient molasses. So I mixed some molasses in a pot ready to pour into the fermenter that is already bubbling away. I take the lid off of the fermenter (which is inside) and proceed to pour the molasses into the fermenter. WELL what a beautiful fountain of molasses over flowing from the fermenter all over the cupboard, floor in my work boots and flowing out the back door.
