Very first post! Newbie from the South East who inherited a Pro Series II.... I am bringing this 5 yr old unit out of shed storage (and hopefully back to life). Its been covered, but unused for sometime. I know right off the bat that I need new hoses, clamps and copper. Whats the best way to ensure all the stainless is super clean on the inside? Distill a bunch of H2O? Use Chemicals? Outside still appears to be in good shape.
Thanks for any advice! -Coffee

You can run a water/vinegar mix run followed by a alcohol run, don't keep anything from the run. Also make sure the coolant lines are free of obstruction, check Liebig is open and coolant inlets. Great hobby to learn,be safe and happy stillin.

Brewhaus sells some excellent clears and rinses - regardless of how you scrub it clean, a vinegar/water run is in order to really scrub the innards well (from an acidic point of view). After that, I'd soak that rig in clean water and run a sugar wash thru. A fella can always use some neutrals around ;)
