Dear experts,
I'm interested in the 4in flute still which comes with the 15 gal kettle as standard. I'm keen to scale up but this is a lot of volume for experimental runs. If I used the 8 gal kettle for smaller runs with the 4in flute will it function correctly?

The 4" column will work with an 8 gallon kettle but given the small volume your heat up time will likely take as long as the production run itself.
