ok guys bewhause forum has been a GREAT recource for me in making my still and even more about my first run. I have done some trial and error and we have it down to a science. We make our shine and keep some for sipping on and making asses out of ourselves at partys but the rest of it we take and flavor down for our old ladies. We took in a large container. a bottle of shine ,90%, a bottle of apple cider 2 bottles of apple juice and mixed it all up then put on cinnamin stick in each bottle that we distributed the large batch in. shake it up and let it sit for a while so the cinnamin can flavor in and its great for a drink that you can swig down all night. i was just wandering if anyone out there does anything else like this. i would like to try some new things and this was just the example i could think of. we have not tried any other recipies and any ones comments or recipes would help greatly. thanks again guys!

Ryan, Try this site. http://www.guntheranderson.com/liqueurs/flavors.htm I have tried alot of these, the best ones are the apple, I think. Big hit with others, producing something similar to what you describe above. I would shy away from the 'Kummel' and 'anisette' recipies on that site. I made a bunch of it, looked easy enough. smelled good, looked good, but tasted abit off. gonna try your recapie soon too.

"Yes try this, 2 quart jars about 5 lbs strawberrys my favorite but you can use fruit of choice 1 quart of clear cut to about 45-50 % honey 3 cups sugar
clean and distribute the srawberrys in both quart jars, ad 1 1/2 cup sugar in each jar, ad about 1-2 oz honey, top off with clear liquor, let sit for about 5 days every 12 hours rotate jar from its top to its bottom.
