can anyone suggest a good essence for grand marnier

i would guess ,note: this is just an educated guess, that the triple sec essence would be damn close. on wikipedia, it describes grand marnier as being a variety of triple sec. however, i have never made the triple sec essence nor drank grand marnier. so take it for what it's worth. rob

The Strandier essence is our copy of Grand Marnier.

thanx for the info would a guy get any better taste out of using brown sugar for this or should i stick to white sugar just curious

Certainly you could try with brown sugar, although I would first try it with standard white granulated sugar and then you can adjust to taste with a baseline in mind.

got some strandier essence and made a batch up the sweetness is good but i cant seen to get the orange flavor to come out like i want it to anyone got some tips how i can do this

the triple sec essance tastes almost exactly like grand mariner IMHO Brewzz
