"First illiminate the Hops as it will carryover, and cannot be removed. Some few European brews do this, but have not had many accolades.
Second, judge your yeast selection to the OG gravity you are seleting. Make sure it will go to termination. Plus clarity of the finished product.
With just the malt extract, and the unconverted sugar, I would consider something like ec 1118? Fast and clean, and cheap. Do the ph, nutrient, and vitamin thing. No problem."

"thanks for the replies. I was in the grocery store the other day and saw the extract on a shelf for 4 bucks a can and could'nt pass that up. oh well, there is always homebrew from it. Should be pretty good, it is the premier brand which is (I believe ) the old blue ribbon brand."
