"Hi brewstudent, The easystill is a good unit and requires little maintenance. The directions on use is pretty easy. I purchased one for the reason of limited space. I used it a few times and it really got me into distilling, so I had to go bigger and bought the Pro Series II reflux still. It's just like brewing except you take it one step further. Look around the forum here and ask questions. There are a lot of people here that really know their stuff. I've been doing it for about a year and I'm still learning and having fun. Cheers! TS"
