if the first run of my still i didn't separate the heads/middle/tail runs carefuly enough can i fix that later or will it wreak the whole batch?

your fine. I always do a first run just to seperate the alc from the wash, it will keep just fine. Just remember to add a couple of gallons of water to your distillate before re-distilling it so your still dosen't run dry.
