I ordered a ""complete"" Pot Distiller but now that my wash is ready I discovered they did not give me the copper mesh as advertised. Do you need copper mesh for a pot distillation or just for reflux?"

Rank: Senior Member Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 10/22/2005(UTC) Posts: 817		Meadguy, Yes, go ahead and run it. You don't need or want packing when running pot still mode for flavor. I sometimes add one coil though just to catch any sulfer. Not real necessary though. Enjoy your brandy.
