I know when diluting for drinking to use cheap distilled water but what about diluting a stripping run. I have well water and need to know if I should use distilled water here also or if good tap water is fine.

"If you're diluting a stripping run before your second run, you can use regular tap water and add some baking soda to help make a cleaner run. I just ran my second run using tap water with my still in reflux mode and the finished product came out really nice at an average of 93% abv. I used the same amout of water as my stripped product.
