I did my steam test this afternoon and ran some water just throught the pot still. Pretty hard to get organized. The pump didn't even begin to do the job but I read about raising the water source level to the column. I will do that tomorrow with my first "reak" run. Will this work or should I get another pump? Really don't want problems tomorrow.

Try that but I have no problem when using just the water to the condenser. When I am doing a full reflux and using it with the condenser and the column with the control valve i usually have to suck start the column hose.
