"First batch from the Amazing Still is...

Sweet and smooth, delicious, stout BigGrin

I ordered an acrylic dome today from http://www.cleardomes.com/domes.htm, 13"" diameter with a 1/2"" flange. It ought to fit right in the top of a fermenter. The production rate is not quite what I expected. Only a pint in 24 hours. Wash temp is 113F. Room temp is 72F. Most just drips back into the wash. Other than that, I love it :)

Edited to add...Acrylic is not compatible with ethanol. So I'm getting a nice little dome anyway. Maybe I can use it as a form to dome the fermenter lid with a heat gun."
