"Hi All
I have a little one gal. pot still that I destilled 15% suger wash in it and it came out at 60% I also fun it thew a filter at the same time...But it still has some unwanted flaver in it.
If my still is giving me 60% on the first run, can I run the 60% thew it again and get a higher % with less taste in it. And if so can I run it a third time and get even higher or is the 60% the best I can get from a pot still.
I would like to get know flaver in it with out having to go buy a new reflux still if that is possible with a pot still?????

mix with water to 40% redistell. keep doing that untill you get what you want. it will remove the off flavors

But I got a few add ons. Started at 83 then jumped to 87 during the duration of the run. I know that sounds crazy. But after adding my refining orb heads and tails are compressed very nicely. You can get a nice nuetural with your potstill but you'll be using alot of energy."
