I live in the great state North Carolina Is there any legal way to distill spirits and what kind of trouble can one expect? This hobby is only personal use, none for sale.

Don't sell, and keep a low profile so some neighbor with a mad on doesn't cause an uproar and report you, and you will never have a problem. Relax and use good common sense. Our good law men have way more important things on their slate. Like our kids and meth. etc. Enjoy and relax. Just keep a low profile."
