Looking for some guidance on which size/type of distiller. I've made a LOT of beer-OK not lately, but one of the things I used in my beer haze-I mean days, was a recirculating mash infusion system based on converted beer kegs. It made 13 gallon batches. I still have the carboys and canning pot for "typical" batches (6 gallons). Is there an advantage to using a converted beer keg for a boiler? Do you lose some efficiency by doing smaller say 5 or 6 gallon batches? If I get a chance, I'll throw up a photo of the beer system.
