Guys, I want to try and make my own extracts -- you know llike the ones in the little bottles. I dont know exactly what kind as of yet but something new to try. Maybe some whiskey ext. or maybe fruit. I know I can buy almost anything you can think of but I would like to expirement and see what happens. Does anyone have the knowhow????????? Is it a distilled to get product or just mixed adjuncts?

They are a combination of essetial oils and very condensed extracts. Very hard to make those and I've never seen any recipes. There are other ways to flavor things up like limoncello, rums, apple pie and such. As for whiskeys you are much better off making them from scratch. IMO"
