"Hey there guys/gals
Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the premium kettle will work on an induction burner? I have a 1600 watt induction burner and would like to pick up the PSII, but would like to know if it would work on there first.
Basically if anyone who has a PSII,,Can you stick a magnet to the bottom of it? If you can I will be set !
Thanks in advance guys

P.S. I would be getting the premium kettle as well, so that's the pot I am interested in knowing about 8)"

The kettle is stainless steel, a magnet won't stick to SS."

I use one of those burners with my SS pressure cooker and stock pots. Works great for those."

"Yeah I was hoping that it may of had a ferrous type of ""plug"" in the bottom, but Rick from Brewhaus confirmed it did not.I guess i'll get a thin steel disk made up and give it a go.
Thx for the info guys 8)
If I manage to get a easy solution i'll post back. I have a run that I am getting ready for now with the old reflux.

P.S. Did anyone see where I put my mason jars ?:) J/K

That kind of heater would be interesting to use if it could be adapted for use with the SS boiler. It's been a long time but I believe that Stainless Steel can be welded to mild steel if you know what you are doing. That leaves me out :), but there must be some specialty welders that could answer that question.

Nah I came across a free ss keg so I ran with that instead which works fine on my stove top so I didn't bother with the kettle.
