Sweet potato pie and fries are great. Wondering if sweet potatos would make a rum? Or if this would end up being more like a sweet vodka? Any thoughts on this from anyone? Thanks

Trouble is trying to seperate the mash after fermenting. Read where some of the Ole Boys made a 50 gal batch and finally dumped it all as they just couldn't seperate it. Maybe an apple or wine press?"

"I have been looking to make something like Korean Soju. It's usually a combination of rice and sweet potatoes, barley, wheat, etc. It tastes like a less neutral vodka, and is usually around 30% I think. It's I haven't tried, but maybe using a juicer on sweet potatoes could work? I am going to give it a shot and post the results."

She tried getting me the recipe but never could. She did bring me several big bottles when she came back. Like a mildly sweet vodka. Keep us posted."
