Hey All,
Many thanks for the previous help on the UJSM. So now I have my second distillation coming up. Any thoughts to keep me from cliff's edge? My 10 gallons of 2nd ferm. have been happily bubbling away and BEHOLD I have not drunk off my two quarts ,precious little I know, I'm trying to figure that out, of distillate so will add that when I charge the boiler. Then distill and save. And that's about all I know. Oh ya, one question: do I continue to keep heads until the final distillation or do I start keeping them out from this point on? I think I've read both.
Carry on the good work men.
Yours,
PJ Lily

p.s. apollo - do you ever get back to the islands of your family? Ouzo recipes.... pjl

p.p.s can I have a show of hands of those who hope they can make it to the Moonshine Jamboree in Georgia? Not that I will ever match John, but I'd like to bring enough to share with y'all. pjl

Hey Appollo,
Thanks for the quick comeback. I know this isn't the recipe forum, but is your fig recipe a family secret or can it be posted on the forum? Truthfully I am a long way from making it, but ouzo is a personal favorite and I WILL be getting to it at some time.
You going to the jamboree?
Yours,
PJ Lily

Hey WW,
Getting ahold of you was one of the reasons I posted: 'Rick? Buddy?' Before it took only a day or two, so something may be afoul on his end. Fortunes prevailing he'll get it fixed in time. Let's give it a while and if not we can meet somewhere between us. Or nearer to you as my better half has been wanting a wee trip...
Yours,
PJ Lily

I am sorry- did I miss following up on something? I have certainly tried to keep up, but we have been shorthanded at the warehouse, so it is very possible that something slid past me. If so, my apology- just let me know what you need. :-,
