"I just found your photos. i see the new brewhaus boiler. Is your column 2 or 3 inches in diameter. Your banjo looks to be one of the extra power ones. If you insulated your boiler would the flames get to it??? How long does that powerhouse take to start producing?? Sorry for sooo many questions but i see the boiler that i have on order and am a bit exited. Scotty "

Sorry for sooo many questions but i see the boiler that i have on order and am a bit exited. Scotty If i were to turn it full throttle yes the flames would burn insulation on the boiler. The burner puts out so much I never run it wide open. I usually have to turn it down a bit because it heats up so fast the boiler will start to pop and ping and jump around. I can put 25 liters in the boiler and a touch of anti foam and bring her up to temperature in about 35 to 40 mins. Here is a clear shot of the burner: It is available here: http://www.rebelbrewer.com/shop...252d-Floor-Standing.html" |

"Whats the reasoning in insulating the kettle? Does it make it easier to maintain reflux? Heat up faster? just curious.
I'd hate to cover up that pretty stainless, but if it it helps will be wrapping it up quick."
