"Just wanted to say thank you for all the instructional posts on internal reflux operation. Spent a lot of time as a non member first just reading till my eyes started bleeding.

Last Sat made my cleaning run on a Copper 2"" - 36"" tall internal reflux with a 30 litre keg and propane (turkey fryer) burner.

Added my column packing after reading here how to properly do this after the cleaning run. Made up the first batch of sugar wash last night and within an hour it was sizzling. Did not bring my figures in of what it was reading to share - but it instructed to leave the bung off to get full oxygen and it is a great sight. I did use the 48hr Turbo yeast.
Have my clearing agent ready when the wash is ready - after reading yesterday to clearify the boiling issues I had in mind - this help clearify this all up as well.
Thanks again to all and for Rick getting me signed in."
