Has anyone ever used a weldless element installation kit to add a heating element to your kettle? I ran across them here: http://www.highgravitybrew.com/...Element-Kit-269p2652.htm along with the wired elements 3500, 4500 and 5500 watt.

I have used them in steam table applications a few years ago and it is a simple job, but I see no mention of them anywhere in this or any other forum as a solution to distillation boiler heat. It just seems like a simpler solution than welding in a NPS thread half coupling (if you can find one)

Just thought I would ask before I punch a hole in this beautiful kettle.

Several guys here have used them, I myself have not but they seem to work. There are some pics here someplace of the kegs with them installed. So i think the answer you are looking for is YES YOU CAN...
