"Hi folks, generally i run a 15.5 gal reflux wash with my hc unit, however i want to see the time difference between stripping a few washes then doing my reflux run, i intend to use my 2"" pro unit for stripping, my question is, im assuming im just to use the top portion of my 2"" column with the condenser obviously, do you just use water for the condenser cooling and leave the 'tower' cooling lines un-used for the stripping run? If so im assuming you just throttle the heat input down enough so your not puking out distillate.
Guess there's a few questions in there :) Thanks in advance"

Guess there's a few questions in there :) Thanks in advance i have also the ps II pro and the HC.My experiance is I can run the top half of the HCunit in half the time as the ps II pro for a stripping run. This is due to the size of the cooling condensor. I can achieve a fast run of distillate with the HC, but only a fast drip with the 2"" column. The relatively tiny condensor cannot handle the vapor flow at anywhere near the speed. Use your HC unit for the stripping runs. Even packed and in full reflux mode, if run fast it will eaual the slower speed of the ps II for stripping. My experiance anyhow."
