Didn't check the link Wade sent to you, but will make a strong recommendation to all. Do not get the pre drilled bung which is for the glass thermometer, which you probably would also have to buy, but the solid bung, then drill a small hole to incorporate a digital thermometer, with an alarm. The SS probe should fit tight, and it will be the best and easiest advantage to you. I set mine at 150° and as soon as alarm rings, I cut down the power to the propane and turn on the water. Let it run full reflux for a while, with low heat input, then adjust to take off slowly foreshots and heads, then speed things up till I am takeing hearts off at 172° as I am at 4200' elev. It doesn't take too many trials with a certain wash or mash to find that your thermostat alarm will tell you when to adjust. Like useing a computer to an albacas sp? Makes life so much easier and safer. You can even get one that has the alarm that will fit on your belt.

The link I sent is the solid rubber bung just so that you know. Thanks for that tip Mtnwalker. I will have to get me 1 of those dig. thermos. soon and the solid rubber bung myself, as for now I'll have to deal with he standard glass thermo. They actually dont sell a bung a bung that is drilled as far as I can see so I guess they drill each 1 when you buy a whole set up.

Did you get the High output or the PSII standard cause the high output has 8 tubes to connect to?
