"I've two digital multimeter's with attachments to measure temperature. Both are lead free and one can be connected to a PC to do anything i.e. email etc.. Is anyone using this instead of a dedicated digital thermometer?

Advantages for these can be zeroed to read correctly.

No big deal just buy a new bung to make a hole for the probe.

Maybe I'm making it complicated, or I'm just cheap!
