"Suppose you are distilling something other than Turbo Pure 48 sugar wash in your Amazing Still and want to get rid of the foreshots and heads. Could you simply pour your distillate into a stainless steel pan and cook it off to the open air for a short time?
Edited to add... It works. Brought some wine distillate, about a pint just to almost boiling for a couple of minutes and could smell the nasties coming off. Then submersed the bottom of the pan into a sink of cold water and swirled it around a bit to cool off the contents. The bite is gone as is the bad smell. This had already been carbon filtered but had a distinct odor and harshness I supposed was the fores and heads that the carbon would not remove."
