Is anyone here from Canada and purchased a still from Brewhaus? I ask because I am wondering how my luck will be with it getting across the border. Alternitively do you guys know any Canadian based companies from which I could purchase an easystill?

Just guessing, I think the easystill would be easy to get past customs when you are getting plain buckets and lids in your order. Then making into the Easystill. A SS still like the EE is more obvious what it's for. Anyhow what are the laws concerning distilling in BIG North? Cheers"

From what I can tell the laws up here are pretty much the same as in the U.S. (tottally illegal) except we don't have the luxury of applying for a permit to make the fuel.

That's why it's also sold as an extractor for 'essential oils'. These are the oils & fragrances for making soaps, perfumes, & such. Distilling rose essence uses the same equipment as liquor.

Brewhaus in Canada sells an awesome product called the SmartStill. Basically it's the same as the EasyStill. They ship pretty fast and I've always had great service from them.
