Just bought a packet of Rum Turbo yeast. On the packet it says to mix in 5 gal of water, 5 lbs of sugar, and 9 lbs of molasses. In the store where I buy my molassas, it comes in 8 ounce jars. I beleive that is liquid measurment not weight. There doesn't seem to be a conversion. So what's an easy why to do this? Sad

Different molassas have different weights/ volume. I would weigh a bottle, and then adjust for the weight of the bottle when emptied."
