"I thought I ordered yeast nutrients and got this instead. Ingredients are high-alcohol distillers yeast, yeast nutrients and AG. Is this a whiskey yeast w/ AG? It says it doesn't contain Amylase Enzyme which is required to convert grain starch to frementable sugars FIRST' what does that mean. Can I use this on a all grain run, or a non-cook corn and sugar run? I got 2 lbs of this stuff. Is malt some kind of nutrient for yeast and does this come in a liquid?
I hope that if I read enough and get the right answers to my questions I will learn enough to move on, Good grief I have a headacheOhMyGod"

You are right, this will not make a mash at high temps. It is for no cook UJSM types or a mash that willl enhance sugar conversion at ferment temps. It is good used on a grain wash like a non cook or a mash where the grains add all the nutrients. This is not a turbo, which contains all the nutrientst and such. I think it has a ph stabalizer. This is good for only the first run. I have used the Whiskey yeast with AG for 8 or more runs, without a problem. Use setback on the lees, maintain the quality of the grains and continue. Easy as a sugar wash with quality flavor. Less ABV per run, but better quality."

When you say its good for the first run , does that mean I have to add more of the same for the second run or use something different. When I'm done with this yeast problem I think my next hurdle is to learn all the abbrevations. When I attempt my first cooker mash, is it ok to use wheat malt? When I do my secon run on my corn no-cook, do I discard the spent corn and how can I tell. Thank you for your help mtnwalker, I wish you were my neighbor, how far do you live from Goldsboro?
