please help me, as i started my ps2 while i was working to 78c the temp would all of a sudden drop , then it would gradually work its way back up doing the same over and over . maybe do i have the chamber to tight with the copper??? or is this normal . or maybe just having a burp

Could be one of 3 things, but I think you already hit it right with copper too tight. Refluxed liquid going back down the column will condense the vapors comeing up and form a pool that blocks vapors until enough pressure builds to blow past it, then repeats.

Second would be if running to hard, and some of the mash pukes into the column essetially doing the same thing as above.

Third would be if you are useing a hot plate and it is cycling on and off.

If i recall right, think i had a similar problem when using the diffuser plate.
